Description: Maria Barbara Bach was a soprano singer from baroque period. She was cousin and the first wife of Johann Sebastian Bach. Although nothing is known about Barbara’s life, it is known that she was a great soprano singer, happily married with J.S. Bach. Her death was sudden and unexpected. Johann and Barbara had 7 children, but three of them died at birth.
