Description: Vassily Ivanchuk is a Ukrainian chess Grandmaster and a former World Rapid Chess Champion. Ivanchuk was the World Blitz Chess champion in 2007. In 2011, by the decree of the President of Ukraine, Ivanchuk was awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise IV degree. In 2016, He won the World Rapid Chess Championship by defeating the current world champion Magnus Carlsen among many others.
