Description: Alla Kushnir was a Soviet-born Israeli chess player. She was three times finalist in the Women’s World Chess Championship, losing all of them against Nona Gaprindashvili. FIDE awarded her the title of Woman International Master in 1962 and Women Grandmaster in 1976.
