Description: Esteban Servellón was a composer, conductor and teacher from El Salvador. He was a member of the National Symphony Orchestra “Banda de los Supremos Poderes”, director of the National Conservatory of Music, conductor of the National Orchestra of the Army from El Salvador, professor of musical composition at the University of Veracruz, and Head of the National Arts Center School of Music. His compositions have features of atonality and typical melodies of the late nineteenth century. Esteban was awarded with the National Culture Award in 1998.
