Description: Sesenne was a singer from Saint Lucia and cultural icon. She had the ability to sing seven different tones in completely syncrony. The recordings of his music helped spread the music of Saint Lucia, and Sesenne began to be known as the Queen of Culture. In 1972, Sesenne received the Medal of the British Empire and the Medal of Merit of Saint Lucia. In 2000, she was awarded the honor of Lady Commander of the Order of the British Empire for popular culture, art and community service.
